Things to do

Hike to Sunset Point - Around 2 kilometres hike from the outskirts of Almora town lies Bright End Corner. Clearly named because of the unhindered sunset and moon-rising views from here, this is a trip worth making. Free from the usual commercial chaos, with no buildings marring the view, sunsets in the mountains are a spectacle to behold. From twilight to the warm remnant hue in the sky, there's nothing to beat the serenity of Sunset Point. We take you back to your hotel as the evening grows darker.

Guided Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary Walk - Uttarakhand's finest enigma, Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary is unique and like none other. While wildlife here is not the biggest attraction due to the close proximity between man and animal here, it does give you the idea of an ideal world. In a world as exclusive as Binsar, walking through tall ancient trees with the background of numerous birds, spotting a leopard is not exactly unexpected.

Kasar Waterfall trek - Hike to the waterfall at Kasar and a walk through the forest below. Spending time at the village in the forest gives you a glimpse into the average day of folks here. Our naturalist will help you identify different species of wildlife and birds and tell you about ancient customs and traditions of residents here.
