Best time to visit October to April

A semi arid area, Delhi has pleasant temperatures from October to April. The months of December and January gets cold and more often than not, the fog reduces the visibility. Though it's a great time to be outdoors and enjoy the winter sun. It's the best time to explore beautiful monuments like the Red Fort, the Qutab Minar and the Humayun's Tomb. October is a good month with clear skies. Hot winds sweep the city starting late April and continues till the end of June. These months are hot and dry with scanty rainfall. The monsoon arrives by July and brings the temperatures down. The humidity rises as a result of the rains.
